Ciclistul Victor Mironov va reprezenta Republica Moldova la Campionatul European la ciclism pe pistă. În acest sens, ministrul Tineretului și Sportului, Ion Cebanu, a semnat un ordin cu privire la delegarea sportivului la competiția europeană.

Astfel, din buget au fost alocate peste 9300 de lei. Din acești bani sportivul va achita cheltuielile de transport, diurnele, cazarea și asigurarea medicală.

Competițiile sportive vor fi desfășurate în perioada 27 - 30 iulie, în orașul portughez Anadia, iar din partea Republicii Moldova va evolua Victor Mironov.

Recent, Mironov s-a clasa pe locul doi în topul sprinterilor din cadrul cursei Turul României. Acesta a acumulat pe 13 iunie, împreună cu coechipierul său, Sergiu Cioban, 6 puncte.

LEOPARD s.a., the owner of the RADIOSHACK NISSAN TREK WorldTour Cycling Team, is proud to announce the launch of its Continental Team, named LEOPARD TREK. The Team will be led by Team Director Adriano Baffi.

“The Continental Team is aimed at promoting and developing Luxembourgish Cycling in the world”, says Flavio Becca. “Since Fränk and Andy Schleck conquered their place in cycling’s top tier and the Grand Duchy witnessed the birth of the 2011 LEOPARD TREK WorldTour Team, the popularity of cycling has grown to immense proportions. It shouldn’t be a surprise that we want to build for the future. With this Team we are able to structurally search for talent and provide experience and training to young and promising athletes.”

The LEOPARD TREK roster for 2012 will be the following: Eugenio Alafaci (ITA), Giorgio Brambilla (ITA), Jesus Ezquerra (SPA), Oliver Hofstetter (SUI), Bob Jungels (LUX), Julian Kern (GER), Alex Kirsch (LUX), Alexandr Pliuschin (MOL), Pit Schlechter (LUX), Fabio Silvestre (POR) and Joel Zangerle (LUX).

“The Team consists of a majority of U23 riders”, says Adriano Baffi, who acknowledges that there will be an important role for Alexandr Pliuschin and Bob Jungels, the 2010 Junior World Time Trial Champion. “Bob and Alexandr are absolute bright prospects and I am really looking forward to working closely with them. Alexandr will be our road captain: he is an all-rounder and has some experience already. Bob, from his side, will be able to grow in terms of endurance and experience.”

“The Team will concentrate on one single race program,” says Baffi. “I would like to see every rider race between 60 and 70 days per season, which would be an ideal learning experience for each one of them.”

Особенно понравилось про "some experience" - это всего-то 4 года в протуре, доезд до финиша на Тур де Франс

On Saturday (February 4) the LEOPARD TREK continental team will make its first appearance on the roads of Tuscany at the Gran Premio Costa degli Etruschi.

The remodelled route for the GP Costa degli Etruschi, the opening race on the Italian calendar, was originally 195 kilometres long and allowed for different scenarios to unfold. However, weather conditions in Tuscany today (Friday) forced the organizers to change the route and delete the climbs from the menu.

Director Adriano Baffi: “The original route favored the riders with a mind set on attacking, because it all depended on how the teams would interpret the new route. Now that the route is less hard, it's a lot more likely that the race will end in a bunch sprint in Donoratico.”

“We have strong guys for both scenarios. Bob Jungels and Alexandr Pliuschin are strong riders that can try their luck in a breakaway. If the odds are for a bunch sprint, then we turn our attention to Giorgio Brambilla and Oliver Hofstetter. Fabio Silvestre and Eugenio Alafaci are there to help our fast men to defend their chances.”

The line-up for the race will the following: Eugenio Alafaci, Giorgio Brambilla, Jesus Ezquerra, Oliver Hofstetter, Bob Jungels, Julian Kern, Alexandr Pliuschin, Pit Schlechter, Fabio Silvestre and Joël Zangerle.

Поздравляю Александра Плюшкина с 3ьим местом на первом этапе бельгийской гонки Triptyque des Monts et Châteaux

Александр и его попутчики долгое время ехали в отрыве, но к сожалению на финише не смогли разыграть командную карту и заняли 2е и 3е место.

И рад и жаль .. думал выиграетзавтра разделку )) хотя может силы остались... но врятли ...

по опыту он выше всех соперников в этой гонке )

учитывая, что он стартует 3им с концы должен если не выигрывать, но проезжать хорошо, хотя судя по его номеру в гонке 166 он поехал туда далеко не капитаном.
